Position Title:Technical Systems Specialist

 

Location: Dublin

 

Job Information (incl. essential functions):

Working as part of a small team, the role will be responsible to ensure the integrity and efficiency of the technical data within the Asset Management Systems, The role will be responsible for ensuring that the asset management modules in CDBA’s Technical asset management system “Leasepoint” are fully utilized by working with various internal stakeholders (Treasury, Financial Accounts, Invoicing and Contracts), and for the integration, development and maintenance of the data in those modules within Leasepoint, in addition to ad-hoc training, support and guidance to various departments as and if necessary.

 

Core Responsibilities: 

  • Manage and revise as necessary clear working processes for entering data on the asset management system to ensure asset data uniformity and providing support when required.
  • Promote and prioritize data automation, streamlining processes to further the reduction/elimination of manual tasks, improving data quality and availability, and enhancing efficiency within CDB Aviation.
  • Alignment with industry best practice in relation to data governance policies and standards.
  • Respond to internal and external information requests relating to information contained within the CDB Aviation Technical Systems.
  • Assist in the creation of aircraft technical specs and providing any additional maintenance or relevant information as requested by potential buyers or customers.
  • Familiarity with producing essential business reports such as cash flow forecasts and maintenance event forecasting reports, etc.
  • Champion the use of technical data analytics within the Technical Team.
  • Work together with the CDB internal Leasepoint committee and representatives to prioritize and drive system changes and developments from a technical perspective.
  • Manage the testing and rectification of bugs and development of the system on behalf of the wider technical team.
  • Additional ad hoc support / projects as directed by the department lead.

 

Role Requirements:

  • Licensed Engineer (or equivalent) with minimum 5 years´ work experience in the aviation technical field or an alternative relevant technical qualification with 8 years’ work experience in the aviation technical field
  • 5 years + Leasepoint experience, or a similar Lease Management System
  • Experience with MRA Analysis / Forecasting software tools and /or Aircraft Records Management Systems is a plus.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the financial implications of technical commitments, including maintenance reserves, modification costing and budgeting.
  • Self-starter, problem solver, willingness to work cross functionally, and an ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • A strong understanding of Aircraft maintenance recordkeeping principles.
  • Good interpersonal skills that enhance the already strong relationships that have been developed with both customers and suppliers.
  • Must have a natural attention for detail and can work accurately under pressure.
