Position Title:Technical Administrator

Reporting to the SVP Technical, the Technical Administrator is a key member of the Technical Team, responsible for supporting the administration and coordination of aviation assets. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of activities related to aircraft management.

Core Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with gathering and maintaining accurate technical data of current and future CDB Aviation assets, including aircraft, engines and equipment.
  • Assisting with generating and updating technical specifications for all aircraft on lease and in storage using Leasepoint Aircraft Asset & Contract Management software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to update and organize asset databases as part of our centralized, Power BI reporting platform, AV8.
  • Support with the management of suppliers and contractors for inspections and aircraft off lease.
  • Support with the management of technical queries from Operators / other departments concerning the fleet.
  • Assisting the Technical Team with fleetwide programs and all ongoing process improvement initiatives.
  • Occasional support of other departments, as directed by the SVP Technical, in times of high workload/ peaks.

 

Role Requirements:

  • Self-starter, problem solver with a willingness to work cross functionally.
  • Demonstrated excellent attention to detail, ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills that enhance the already strong relationships that have been developed with customers, both external and internal.
  • Effective communicator with strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Basic understanding of aviation regulations and industry best practices.
  • Strong interest in, and growing understanding of, aviation maintenance, recordkeeping principles and the financial implications of technical commitments, including maintenance reserves, modification costing/ budgeting and maintenance forecasting.
  • Experience with Technical Management Systems for managing aircraft data and records is a plus, e.g. Leasepoint.
  • Familiarity with Power BI and / or SharePoint collaboration software is a plus.
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
