Airline Economics Aviation 100 2022 Asia-Pacific Debt Deal of the Year and Overall Deal of the Year Awards
The CDB Aviation team proudly accepted the Asia-Pacific Debt Deal of the Year and Overall Deal of the Year awards at Airline Economics’ 11th Aviation 100 2022 Awards and Deals of the Year ceremony. The awards recognized the lessor’s $660 million senior secured debt facility transaction, which was CDB Aviation’s first large-sized portfolio financing since the onset of the pandemic, sending a strong signal about the resilience of the aviation sector.
“This financing transaction represented our first large-size portfolio financing since the onset of the pandemic, marking our successful return to the secured debt financing market,” said Brendan O’Neill, CFO, CDB Aviation. “At CDBA, we place value on strong relationships and appreciated the ability to work and achieve results with seven leading aviation commercial banks on this transaction, which addressed a group of in-demand, new-generation aircraft.”
“The most critical factor behind any company’s success is its people – I am very proud of our CDB Aviation team in view of the industry recognition associated with these awards for their hard work and smart thinking,” said Pat Hannigan, CEO of CDB Aviation. “Equally important to our company’s ongoing success is the support of our parent CDB Leasing and the valuable resources they make available to us.”
